Inside the cabin was the perfect amount of space for a couple. We had everything we needed to cook our meals, and had plenty of time to relax on the couch and talk.

My only complaints,

TV in living would not turn on, i reached out to ME Properties about the issue and received a response immediately. Unfortunately the problem wasn’t resolved during our stay. I was however able to watch the television in the bedroom.

The bed has an extremely plush mattress, but seemed a bit small

We felt super cozy and relaxed right away. The river is easily accessible, and visible from the cabin. BEAUTIFUL at sunset in the hot tub (what more could you ask for.) Although there were two other properties close by, it still felt very private. So happy we got lucky and found this listing! We will definitely be visiting in the future!

All you can hear are a wide variety of birds chirping. As soon as we arrived, we jumped in a couple of the kayaks and took off towards Lake Milton. Once you paddle past a small RV park, there was no one to be seen on the river. We just parked the kayaks in a cove, relaxed, and absorbed the beautiful surrounding wooded nature. The grill, tabletop electric stove, and all the cookware worked perfectly as we prepared the dinner we packed with a bottle of wine. We ate under the really nice covered patio, and then dipped into the hot tub. So peaceful and so relaxing.

There are 3 beautifully constructed properties neighboring each other with plenty of privacy, so we're considering traveling here again with friends. Each couple could rent their own place with plenty of outdoor dining space and kayaks for all.

There were privacy screens on the deck which was helpful since we were pretty close to some other homes.
I know that others complained about the bed being hard, but I found it to be very comfortable. It was firm memory foam. Honestly, the only bad thing about the place was that the toilet is in the middle of the bedroom, so it made it a little awkward to use the restroom.

The only thing I wasn’t aware of is that the neighbors were close by. This place has 2 neighbors one on each side but they did have privacy curtains that could be closed by the hot tub. The only thing with that is if it’s windy they blew open. Otherwise it was soo much fun and totally worth it!! My boyfriend and I went kayaking and spent so much time in the hot tub!:) They also provided some little snacks and k-cups for coffee, hot chocolate, and tea bags! I would totally recommend!

The area was so peaceful, just wake up in the morning to the sounds of nature everywhere and have a coffee on the deck, exceeded all the expectations that I had. Such an amazing hidden gem in our area and I cannot wait to go back.
